About the Author

After growing up on Lake Michigan, Lauren earned her degree from Western Kentucky University, lived in Chicago, Milwaukee, and New York City, and settled in Oklahoma City in 2009. Throughout her nine-year tenure with Communities Foundation of Oklahoma, she had the opportunity to work with donors, high schools, colleges, and students in her capacity as the scholarship director. In her role as the Manager of Client Success with Foundant Technologies, she now has the opportunity to support the philanthropic community on a much larger scale. She continues to live in Oklahoma City with her husband, Michael, and their daughters, Evelyn and Isabelle. They enjoy snuggling with their beloved pets Lonnie, Iris, Arlo, and Gunner. Areas of expertise: grant and scholarship best practices, high volume scholarship administration, Foundant’s Universal Application and common application strategies.
