Alyson Niemann, MPA | Chief Operating Officer, Mindful Philanthropy
As a leader, strategist, and change agent, Alyson brings 20 years of nonprofit and global experience to her work including launching, scaling and restructuring initiatives for greater missional impact in countries across the globe. Alyson is a seasoned executive whose skills include program development, strategic planning, financial oversight, executive management, public speaking, and leadership development. Alyson holds the position of Chief Operating Officer and Interim Executive Director at Mindful Philanthropy, a nonprofit focused on activating funding toward mental health, addiction and community well-being.
Alyson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Price School of Business at the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Public Administration from the Robert F Wagner School of Public Service at New York University. Alyson also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Public Service at NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service where she teaches nonprofit management.
Doug Grove | Director of Grants Management / Board Member, Kinschner Family Foundation
Doug Grove currently serves as Director of Grants Management for the Kinschner Family Foundation. Doug has also been a board member since the foundation's inception in 2008. Doug's patience, thoughtfulness, and extraordinary attention to detail are invaluable to the continuation of the mission of its founders, Bill and Bonnie Kinschner
The Kinschner Family Foundation builds relationships, supports, and participates in mental illness focused non-profits and grass-roots related initiatives. Relationally driven, grant requests are by invitation only.
Doug and his wife, Janet who lives with mental illness, reside on Amelia Island in Florida with their very spoiled, emotional support dog, Baxter.
Jonathan Calvis | Director of Stewardship / Board Member, Kinschner Family Foundation
Jonathan currently serves as the Director of Stewardship for the Kinschner Family Foundation. Jonathan has also been a board member since the foundation’s formation in 2008. Jonathan’s abundant energy, positivity and devotion keeps the driving spirit, building relationships, alive within the Kinschner Family.
The Kinschner Family Foundation’s mission is to share the joy of giving. The Foundation’s focus is building relationships while supporting mental health non-profits and other grass root organizations throughout the United States and Romania
Jonathan and his wife, JoAnne, reside in Alpharetta, Ga. Their two children, Nathan and Rachel, currently attend college in Ohio.
