As scholarship providers, we manage many different types of scholarship programs. Our programs are different, but still have many of the same components. During this coffee talk, we focus on some of the management pieces that affect us all: Payments, Parents, and Letters of Recommendation.
We will share our experiences and learn from each other as audience members answer the following questions:
- Payments: Students or Institutions? One payment per year or at each term verification from student or university? Notify students when checks are sent?
- Parents: Do you work with parents when administering their student's award? With or without student consent? Do you reach out to them or do they reach out to you?
- Letters of Recommendation: How many? What do you ask for? Letter or scoring sheet? Blind or open?
This forum brings professionals from across the sector together to share experiences and best practices.
