About the Author

Since 2005, Rachel Werner has served in a grants management role for the federal government, a nonprofit, charter school, and for-profit clients. She has overseen the management of over $2.5 billion in federal grant awards, including a national charter school organization. She regularly works with clients on grants compliance activities and conducts training to ensure adherence to 2 CFR 200, and offers best practices to overcome common obstacles related to grants management.
