Building a Total-Value Proposal Budget

Download your GPC CEU certificate of completion here!

For your convenience, you can download the presentation slides here and GrantsMagic U’s Master Budget Planning Checklist and Worksheet here.

At the heart of every mission-driven grant proposal stands a mission-driven budget. A good budget provides a clear picture of the total value of all the resources necessary to perform the proposed work. It also stands as an invaluable management and evaluation tool.

So… how do we get there from here? That’s the question we explore in this on-demand, 90-minute webinar.  We cover:

  • Steps to compellingly show the value of everything it takes to do your work successfully.
  • How grantmakers evaluate your proposal budget and what it says about your organization.
  • How to handle volunteer time, matching contributions, administrative/indirect costs, and other elements in your budget.
  • Practice calculating some “total-value” challenges in real-life scenarios.
