Board members now have a much better understanding of applications. Our process is more streamlined. Applicants have found the software very user friendly because we created it very much like the paper form we used to use.

Pain Points

We wanted to offer organizations an easier way to apply. Our initial application was a Word document that applicants would complete, print, and send with all attachments required. We wanted to make this process easier for applicants and for our reviewers. Our committee members were overwhelmed with a huge stack of applications to review every month, making it difficult. The online capability gives us the ability to view at any time and offer comments. It also allows reviewers to read comments supplied by me, as I know the applicants more than anyone else on the board. We used to have one-on-one chats, numerous emails, and a more tedious way to share that information.

Solution

I think the ability to include my comments on each application has made a world of difference.

Overall, working with Foundant and using Foundant GLM has been excellent! We will continue to utilize the software and hopefully streamline our reporting process in the future.
