Sydney Murrell

As a previous grant administrator and client of Foundant, Sydney brings valuable expertise to community foundations as they implement Grant Lifecycle Manager (GLM) and Scholarship Lifecycle Manager (SLM) into their organizations’ technology solutions. Originally from Florida and a graduate of University of Florida (Go Gators!), Sydney has spent the last 12 years living and finding home in different areas of Texas. Working in sales and client services in the hospitality industry fostered a passion for creating valuable and exceptional client experiences prior to joining Foundant in early 2021, bringing her unique set of skills to the philanthropic technology sector. Sydney’s background and love for events have made her an asset in planning webinars, Regional Trainings, and Foundant’s semi-annual National Users’ Conference, Summit. Her areas of expertise include grant and scholarship best practices, community foundations, Universal Applications, integrations with CommunitySuite, fundraising, and events. Sydney enjoys volunteering and serving on the boards of her local Big Brothers Big Sisters chapter and the Dallas Fort Worth Gator Club chapter for alumni association. In her spare time, Sydney enjoys reading and traveling.
