Rob Smith

Rob Smith is Foundant’s Vice President of Technology. Rob came to Foundant in early 2019 with over 30 years of technology experience. This experience spans many industries, including military aviation, silicon wafer fabrication, grid computing, large-scale e-commerce, online travel, and serial entrepreneurship. Rob has impacted past organizations in positions ranging from quality control engineer to enterprise architect to engineering leader and executive. Rob is a technology visionary who helps companies with technology and process adoption and modernization as they seek to scale their technology and operations capabilities into the digital age. Rob loves to build teams, solutions, and systems that solve problems in innovative ways. Building up people to enable them to achieve the goals, dreams, and careers they desire is ultimately the most rewarding for Rob. In his free time, Rob loves to hunt, fish, hike, and generally be outdoors, so Montana has been a great fit for him and his wife, Amber. Rob is a practitioner of the martial art of Krav Maga and is a 10-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
