Josh Mallamud

Josh Mallamud began his role as CEO of Foundant+SmartSimple in December 2024. Josh is a former attorney, management consultant, and entrepreneur who transitioned into technology leadership roles 15 years prior to his current position. He started this journey by co-founding an e-commerce business in China, which successfully scaled across the Asia-Pacific region. Recently, as the CEO of Cartegraph - an enterprise SaaS platform used by municipalities to steward infrastructure assets (roads, bridges, and water distribution networks) - Josh found inspiration in the incredible impact their clients’ digital transformation had on the safety, resilience, and prosperity of the communities served. Josh received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Duke University and went on to pursue his Law degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. He also holds MBAs from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management. Josh’s passion for making a difference in our world drew him to Foundant+SmartSimple because of the culture, values, and opportunity to be involved in enabling organizations to make a positive impact on our society.
