Jo Miller, GPC, CSMS | Managing Director and Founder of SmartEGrants
Jo Miller’s experience with nonprofit and public sectors spans over two decades. She’s driven to engage people around common issues to achieve goals by building relationships and facilitating strategic planning and communication. Jo established J. Miller & Associates in 2005 and serves as the owner and lead consultant providing grant, communications, and strategic planning services. Jo serves as a Senior Technical and Communications Advisor for the National Center for Healthy Housing. In this role, she works with grantmaking partners and grantees to leverage resources and expertise to advance effective policies and programs. She is the managing director of Smartegrants, which provides professional development, mentoring, and community spaces for grant professionals. Smartegrants is an Approved Provider for training through the Grant Professionals Certification Institute and Jo is an Approved Trainer through the Grants Professional Association. Jo is the past President of the Grant Professionals Association Board.
